Lonliness

He sees her so clearly,
The bright light of her smile,
Her lean and lithesome body
Flowing with special grace...

He feels the joy within him
When she brightly waves hello;
Then it all crashes down around him
When he wakens from his dream....

He'll then rise and go to the garden
And walk to that special place
Where the tears can flow so freely
As he stares at her tombstone so grey

And see the reality of the life he now has
Where she will never be by his side
And waits for time to rejoin them
In that world on the other side....
